Q.

hi doctor,my baby is 2 year 7 month old and he not feeling well due to cold and till bit his nose is wet due to cold,should I give him cheston cold syrup and in hwhich ml please help me

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation wgcill be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be assocdiated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving indirect steam inhalation twice a day. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Try giving warm water and warm freshly prepared homemade foods. Good luck and take care.
