Hi doctor My baby is 1 ur 8m . We are travelling to India for the first time in these severe summer season. What precautions should I take for her not to fall sick? Bcoz we r coming from Kuwait here it was severe winter and she is not used to hot season from birth. Kindly suggest what precautions I should take for her not to fall sick. And also food habits.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Use a good moisturizing soap for bathing..avoid using cold water.
Use mild shampoo and wash their hair on alternate days to prevent sweat build up.
Use talcum powder in small quantity.
Keep your baby cool and comfortable in loose fitting, light color cotton clothing that lets her skin breathe.
he should be kept out of the sun. Use sunscreen to protect her from the sun's harmful rays, give them frequent sips of previously boiled and cooled water from a sipper.
