Give drops maxtra 0.5 ml two times per day to the child and can be given maximum three times per day and give nasal saline drops every 4 hourly to the child. Meet your doctor if there is no imdprovement in few days and go for home remedies like Tulsi ginger water and turmeric with milk.

Try nasal saline drops.
Your baby's doctor may recommend saline nasal drops to moisten nasal passages and loosen thick nasal mucus. Look for these OTC drops in your local pharmacy. Apply saline nasal drops, wait for a short period, and then use a suction bulb to draw mucus out of each nostril.
