hi doctor I'm breastfeeding mother of 5 months old baby due to some reasons I want to postpone my periods can I take regestrone tablet is it safe to use while breastfeeding pls let me know. Thanks.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. not safe while giving breast milk to the baby stop feeding temporary. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello yes you can be taking the medicine which is not a problem and will help to delay the period and it will not actually affect the breastfeeding which is not a problem and any concern you may check with your doctor once before you could take it which is safe
