Q.

Hi Doctor I had my period due on 1st Jan and I took my first pregnancy test which had a light test line but I took a second pregnancy test today in which I got a lighter test line than the first test. Also from 30th Dec I m feeling light cramps in my stomach. Can you please let me know the reason behind all this.

A. Even if the second line is relatively faint it is still positive. To see if the pregnancy is going right or not do hCG test and see the doubling time or consult your doctorWrite Your Answer Here

A. If you check your results within the recommended time frame and see a faint positive line, you're most likely pregnant. On the other hand, if you miss the window for checking the results and you don't check the test until 10 minutes later, a faint line may be an evaporation line, which means you're not pregnant.
