Hi doctor, Good morning... My daughter safaa has thyromegaly and is diagnosed with hypothyroidism due to increased tpo antibodies... because of that her melanin pigment is also affected in her foot ... could you kindly tell me what food and life habits should she follow.. is there any possibility for her to cure completely...how shall we cure the inflammation in her thyroid gland...

A. Treatment is usually bed rest and aspirin to reduce inflammation of a sore thyroid. Occasionally cortisone (steroids, which reduce inflammation) and thyroid hormone (to "rest" the thyroid gland) may be used in prolonged cases.
