Q.

my baby diagnosed with congenital hypothyroidism in first week and we are giving him 25mg eltroxin since then. for last three days he hasn't passed stool. is he constipation due to hypothyroidism. what should I do?

A. if the baby is having congenital hypothyroidism already you are treating the baby with eltroxin so the question of hypothyroidism and doesn't arisethis type of constipation is common in all the babies below 6 months of age no medicines are required
