Hi! 4 months baby, cold and fever... can we give a mild cold water sponge bath with salt? baby head extreme hot and sweating? please guide

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Avoid cold water as baby is having cold as well And apply Vicks baby rub on chest and back in very little amount and saline nasal drops can be used and give calpol drops after every five hours interval and feed on regular intervals

Yes you can give it to the child you should be go ahead we doing cold sponging on the body of the child specially four head and you should do it behind Knees as well that is going to really be helpful in reducing down the temperature quite fast along with the medication
