Q.

hello sir, my daughter is suffering from cold for almost 1 month. her third vaccine is scheduled in this week. can we get her vaccinated with cold or is there any problem? when she was vaccinated last month ,also suffering mild cold. what should I do?

A. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination andf it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
