Hello sir,mere baby ki open heart surgery hui h 4 weeks ago due to large multiple vsd and asd ..now hmare yha is time itni thand h ki he caught cold ,,his nose is block and little coughing..he is too much uncomfortable..PLZZ suggest any syrup which is good for him ,,I m giving him cheston cold ..is it right

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supvportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and deconges tant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. Please consult a pediatrician and he will guide you better after examination and analysis. follow the doctor's instructions regarding medication please also keep the baby clean hygienic hydrated warm and ears covered can apply a little vicks baby rub on his head nose and back avoid cold winds can put a few drops of organic eucalyptus oil on the pillow and bedspread
