Q.

Hello Sir/Mam I am a mother of 5 year old boy & 4 months baby girl My second born child is 4 months old.. I have gone through preterm labour at 34 weeks. My both baby deliveries are NORMAL.. Baby birth weight- 2.14kgs present weight -5. 2 kgs My gynecologist didn't perform tubectomy during the time of delivery & she told to wait for 3 months because the baby is having low birth weight... Now I'm ready to go for tubectomy.. Meanwhile I got a doubt.. my periods didn't came after the child birth... *Is it necessary to get periods to perform tubectomy Or nor necessary*??? please suggest me which operation is better?? Normal tubectomy operation or laproscopic operation?? Thank you. Regards Swetha

A. no it is not at all necessary that your periods should be there for doing tubectomy operation. and you can choose for anyone without laparoscopy or laparoscopic as both are good and very much equally same in the procedure- just that the laparoscopic has more charges
