hello my niece is 27 days her 6gpd is 21 and billurbin is 13 what should I do any complication

A. there will be certain problems in babies having prolonged serum bilirubin which must be treated appropriately and G6PD is one of them for having this type of problem please consult your local doctor for the same

A. Hi Please take a consultation from your doctor on this year the level of jaundice is a little higher because a normal level is about 5.5 so it’s 13 as of now you should consult your doctor if required keep your child in phototherapy for about 24 hours I think that should be sufficient and after bringing your child back you should always keep your child in San for indirect raise about 30 minutes in the morning for at least a month or two that with a vitamin D is going to increase in the body and the levels are going to go down
