#AskTheExpert sir my child is 13 months old he doesn't have any teeth or teething symptoms. why? is there any complication I have thyroid problem

A. Hi no there is no problem and complications..as kids sometimes show a little delay in getting their first milk teeth and it's normal.. maximum upto the age of 15-18 months first milk teeth can erupt

A. Hello good morning !! Generally babies start teething around 7-11 months while few start at 13-15 months. If you don't observe any teething symptoms - Loose motions, crankiness,hard/swollen gums, rejecting feed,ear ache, gum pain,mild fever then check with Paeditrician. Due to deficiency in calcium Milestones like crawling, walking, teething will delay. Give cerelac, idly,ragi porridge, oats, Dalia,dry fruits powder ladoo, ghee, cheese, butter, curd paneer for calcium.
