Hello , my daughter is 3 years old and was suffering from cold. Now the cold has gone but she got some mouth sore type on the top and on side cheeks inside. She is unable to eat. Can you suggest me medication for this? Thank you

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done fand according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fevegfr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
