Q.
Hello , my baby is suffering from cough and cold and still he has cough. He catches cough and cold very frequently I don't know why , which affects it's his health. And now he loses weight which makes me worry about his health . What should I do to make him fit and fine and keep away from cough and cold

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdiz / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet foodz also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

There are two things one is that basically your child is either having really poor immunity and sometimes these things can happen due to an allergic reaction as well so you need to figure out what would be the issues so kindly get in touch with your doctor for that
