#AskTheExpert can we use ac for baby having cold and cough. what shall I do to avoid cold and cough. My lo catches it very frequently

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after ta proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. iff fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

If Your child is catching it really very frequently that means either your child is having a really weak immunity or your child is suffering with some kind of an allergy which is why frequently your child is getting sick with it and yes you can use an air conditioner it’s not an issue
