ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. don't give water in excess.. Even when you start giving them purees or weaning food at around 6 months of age, breast milk and formula are still more important than water. But you can begin to introduce it in very less amount.
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. babys milk has got enough water content in it. Additionally water isn't required. Giving water will fill baby's tummy with zero nutrients. And later because of fullness they avoid having milk wich is full of nutrients. Water is just seri calories rather milk can be given which already has water content in it., but after 6 months definitely you can give water in few spoons or us very small cup being summer you can give coconut water also water if you are exclusively breastfeeding or giving formula then you can limit the water
