Q.

hello dr.my baby is 3 months and 19 days and her weight is 4.900 gm. how should I increase weight of her???she taken only breastfeeding.. i m offering formula milk but she taken only 30 ml per day ..

A. Better not to give formula milk if you have enough milk flow for the baby as first six months try to exclusively breast feed the baby as it helps yo improve their immunity and good for overall growth of the baby

A. you can do combination feed like that we first you give breastfeeding and the remaining you can give formula to meet up the need of the child because if the child is gaining with mother feeding it’s important that you only give formula feeding more than breastfeeding so you can try and increase it this way that one time you give breastfeeding and the other time you try to give entirely formula to the child try to just balance out and try to make your child more comfortable with formula milk
