Q.

hello dr my baby boy is 4 months old can i give him some water becoz the place live the temperature is too hot and his lips get dry all day is it save to serve some water ??? plz guide

A. hello nothing should be given to the child other than breast milk till six months are complete not even water. breast milk has enough water to fulfill babies hydration needs even in summer. giving water can introduce infection and even reduce milk supply
