Q.

Hello Doctor, While my baby drink water he gets cough from initial drinking stage ( 6 months old ) to until now ( 8 months old ). From which ever he drinks either from open glass / bowl - he gets cough and sometimes he vomits. While drinking breastmilk / semi liquid/ puree’s / Ragi malt he don't cough. Does it causes any health issues if he coughs everytime he drinks water? Should I give him water by sipper bottles? Or please suggest any other format or bottles . Please suggest. Thank you.

A. I don’t think so it is because of having water sometimes when the water does not going into the right place or if the posture while having water is not correct that is when coughing can happen so just to be on the safer side I would recommend you to kindly consult your doctor regarding this
