Q.
Hello doctor my son is having cold issue for two days but today from evening he got fever with 102 Temp. l hv given him crocin(10ml) . His body weight is 31kg.Can u suggest me medicine. Can we give Criz-M syrup (Levocetrizine Dihydrochloride and Montelukast Sodium Syrup) to him for cold issue n what should b the dosage for the syrup?

8ml once a day
continue paracetamol at same dose
your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor
please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

give steam inhalation
use nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time
you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
