Q.

Hello doctor,my son he is now 2yrs old. since 2 to 3months he is suffering from cold i used lots of medicines but it is not getting well.. how should i get over from this cold??help me out Thank you

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper douse for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhhtalation is repeated frequently .

A. U It has done for your child it seems like your child is having some kind of an allergy so you should get an allergy test once because when the cold has been so continuous for such a long time that mostly indicate something or some kind of allergy only
