hello Doctor my daughter is she's 4years old she has cold from 5 days please suggest me the cold syrup..

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper gff hydration needs to be maintained .

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child3 years agoA. Hi dear mom U can give chericof to ur baby for cough. Give steam inhalation to ur baby 2-3 times in a day as this helps in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion.. Take care
