A. Hi The cold will take minimum five days to one week to reduce intensity. you have to go with the medicines. I too use lasma lc kid, dosage prescribed by doctor. So, you can have a humidifier. It will help you in future also. Every time the child sleeps, you can switch it on. It will help in breathing. I too have and my child is 4.6. I am still using it. Nasal drops in every two hours helps a lot. Take care and be in touch with the doctor.

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicinegs like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steavm inhalation is repeated frequently .
