hello doctor, my baby is 1 month 7 days old. he's having thus rash type since 15 days.. 1st it was less now it has increased. applied cetaphil lotion first few days then started applying candid powder since 2 days.. what is it.. what to do to ward it off #asktheexpert

A. Apply a thin coat of a healing ointment like Aquaphor or petroleum jelly, which will act as a barrier between your baby's skin and the drool. These ointments can be soothing to your baby's irritated skin. At bath time, be sure to use a mild, unscented baby wash.
