Hello Doctor, My baby boy is 22 days old and suffering from cold from past one week. sometimes while he is sneezing Green Mucas is coming out. we are using Nasivion Ns drops. can you please suggest some remedies or Medication to reduce his cold

Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a fhome remedyg steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children2 years agoA. use Nasoclear saline nasal drops or you can use otrivin nasal drops.. give steam inhalation apply warm mustard oil on baby chest and back and feet and gently massage at bed time use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
