Q.
hello doctor...my 3 years old had severe cough and cold last three days back....we visited hospital and followed the doctors prescription...her cough and cold reduced but since yesterday we observed that she is feeling difficult while taking breath.....she is taking breath through mouth....does inhalation helps? or anything else to be considered?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongggestant with antiallergic medicine given.f
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
