Q.

Hello doctor, I have done my dual marker blood test.in report posterior risk for down's syndrome is 1:117.could you please tell me is there any risk or not.wha should be the accuracy for high risk.if any risk is there what sud I do now.I am continuing 6 moths pregnancy now.

A. nipt you do it. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child

A. There is no hundred percent accuracy that it is going to happen sometimes it is shown in the report but when the child is born the child is hundred percent good as it is supposed to be there would be no down syndrome or any other problem so we cannot rely hundred percent on that that’s what I can tell
