hello doctor I have a 8.5 months old baby boy..I am feeding breastmilk..he is my 2nd child..both r through c-section delivery...so I want to know that should I take covaccin ..is there any side effect of this on me or my child..is it safe to take..is there any effect on my period..please help me regarding this..

A. lactating mothers can safely take the vaccination for covid-19 and breastfeed the child immerdiately after that,no need to give a time gap thereafter.this is according to the recent government guidelines. covaxin or covishield any vaccine can be taken but for children and for pregnant mothers still trials are going on and they have to wait it for getting vaccinated for covid-19. if there is any fever or body ache after vaccination you can safely take paracetamol 3 times a day
