Q.

Hello doc, my daughter is 2.5 months old. Her birth weight was 3.2 kg and in 25 days of birth she gained a good weight of 1.3 kg. but now in past 45 days she only gained 0.5 kg. she is not gaining 150-200 gms per week.. is it normal ?? her total weight in 2.5 months is 5.5 kg.

A. Hello! Your baby is doing well. There should be minimum weight gain of 400 to 500 g per month in the first few months after birth. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil
