So would instead suggest that for now avoid refined , processed and sugary foods and also do some post delivery exercise suggested by your gynaecologist

Have a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake.
You should begin to exercise after consultation with your doctor. Start with mild exercises like brisk walk, yoga.
