gudmng sir my baby boy is 17 months old suffering from cold nd cuff I am using nebulization with levolin 0.31 mg from 2 dys daily once but not cured well. pls suggest can I use budecort 0.5 mg once or not?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest..or /wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi mam,you can not use nebulizer without consulting your pediatrician. mam,if the symptoms are mild ,there is no need of medication just maintain proper hydration . give Luke warm water with pinch of salt and Turmeric powder in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours. give Tulsi leaves with pinch of salt and ajwain seeds , twice in a day.
