Q.
Google says no cough and cold medicines to children below 2 years. Then why does my doctor prescribe Asthakind P drops for cough and Atarex for cold?

Maam it is not that the medicines are not advisable under the age of two years of course the medicines are advisable under the age of two years and four years but a lot of medicines have been banned by the Government lately under the age of four years for cough but if your doctor is advising you something then it would be suitable as per the age if you have a doubt about it then you can crosscheck with the doctor once
