Q.
good evening sir/mam, my baby boy 4th mnth running .. my baby have mild cold and cough..shall I use babyrub Vicks??

Yes you can rub it apart from nose you can rub it on to the chest bad throat and feet of the child just make sure that you never applied directly onto the nose of the child as that is restricted rest on the other places you can use it is not a problemWrite Your Answer Here

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evatluation by the doctor is done and according to the type ohf cough its prescribed. if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
