Q.

Due to our remote location , lockdown and corona 2nd wave, my daughter's vaccination after 06 month got delayed . Today i arranged for vaccines in an icebox from a town about 100 kms. Finally my 07 month old daughter recieved :- 1. Typhoid Vaccine (Typbar TCV 0.5ml) right thigh and 2. Inactivated Influenza Vaccine ( Vaxiflu-4 for Northern Hemisphere for 2020-2021 season) on left thigh. (Vaxiflu-4 0.5ml was given upto half mark i.e. 0.25 ml.) She had developed slight fever , then we gave 0.5 ml Calpol Peadiatic drops (Paracetemol Paediatric Oral Suspension IP 100 mg ). My concerns are about Vaxiflu-4. Is NH strain ok and giving Vaxiflu-4 half rather than Vaxiflu toddler is also ok ( as it could not be arranged).

A. regarding this you need to consult your pediatrician only because there are different brands of flu vaccination and further you can seek guidance from your doctor for proper suggestions and follow them accordingly e for the the best benefit and also maintain good hygiene which is helpful it's always important
