Dr I want to ask for my one year old girl My daughter has a cold but does not get rid of it. She catches a cold immediately.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs totreatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello give your child immunity increasing food in the diet and also put nasal drops and you can use Babyhug instant cold releif which can also help baby get releif from the cold and makes baby feel better and also better too and any concern then check with your doctor
