Q.
does wearing abdominal belt help in reducing belly fat ... if no, then y is it recommended after c section ?... and how can I reduce my tummy ?

It is always advisable to use a cotton saree to tie your abdomen after delivery which is more comfortable and easy to tie and is more effective just take care when you are tying , you should be lying down properly and then roll the saree as tightly as possible. It is to support the organs to settle down to their original positions properly

No it is not going to reduce down the tummy as you lot of mothers have the similar misconception but it is basically advisable to be worn during the time of C-section surgery or a normal delivery because when you deliver the skin becomes very loose suddenly and it helps in protecting your skin to become more saggy over the period that is why it is strongly recommended to wear abdominal belt right after your delivery
