do kids get infected fir covid 19 if parents are positive or having symptoms of covid19.. what is the best practice to follow to keep them safe

actually I am having fever frok last 18 hrs.. have done blood test .. report awaited by 1030 am.. if CRP is high will go for RT PCR test..
that's why worried about the kids..
