do babies generally breathe faster? And do their bellies move while breathing?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. irregular respiration in infants is considered normal due to their underdeveloped respiratory systems. it is often characterized by periods of rapid breathing followed by pauses or irregular patterns.
this can be attributed to the naxtural maturation process of the respiratory system in newborns. however, if irregular breathing persists or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms, it is advisable to seek medical advice to rule out any potential underlying health issues. x
