Can we give antibiotics for cold which prescribed by Dr to 23 days old boy baby Comp : Amoxycillin & Potassium Clavulanate Suffered by cold for last two days Wt : 3.5Kg

Yes I met Dr yesterday eve he only prescribed that medicine but I am worried to go with antibiotic directly to 23. Days old baby.I have attached medicines image

also if it's viral infection or an allergyd then there is no role of antibiotics.
all infection and illness doe not require antibiotics.
also dosage is given as per infection and type of disease. meetd your dr for proper advice.
