Can ors be given to baby if he is not drinking much water n suffering from constipation

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. constipation in children is common in which diet modification needs to be done like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help you can give Daliya , oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients too. giving excess of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit itskr quantity.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an option but you should give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.. medication is the secondary option.diet modification is the key.plentny of liquids are of great help too.
