can my five months baby have water?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Breast milk has got lot of water ( 80 to 90% of water) which satisfies babys thirst. Baby should be breast feed exclusively till 6 months of age. even in summers don't give unnecessary.

A child is going to have water only after completing the time of six months as that is the right age for you to introduce all kind of semisolid food and complimentary food and feeding to the child including water so please give it when the time is right right now it is not needed
