Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. generally gripe water contains plenty of sugar and sodium bicarbonate which at the end is a type of medicine to decrease the gas so if you are using intermittently there is no problem but if you are using daily it will cause side effects to the child

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi parent if necessary you can give it to your child generally it is given for digestive problem please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed please give daily massage and sun light exposure
