A. yes, when complete 6 month. giving him a few sips of water with the help of spoon, couple of times a day (no more than 1 ounces per day.) You may start with a sippy cup, spoon, or bottle feeder. Initially they won't take more than a few sips from a cup or bottle at a time—and that's fine, because they don't really need it.

A. Yes, A 6-12 month old baby needs two to eight ounces of water per day on top of the water they get from breast milk/formula. Taking sips from their cups throughout the day will usually get them the water they need.
