Q.

Bu mistake, I gave 7ml of cough syrup for my 3year old baby. Is this a matter of concern? Will it have any side effects? Im very much upset.. please let me know

A. Single dose over medication will not really harm your child. Also, it depends on which medicine you have given. Some of the cough syrup have sedatives so it is possible that your child might sleep for some more time, but make sure that such incidents doesn’t happen in future,

A. Actually given double the dosage of generally is given to a three year old child now it would depend what are going to be the side effects either your childhood sleep can also create indigestion can make your child more dizzy so you just have to monitor the behaviour for another 24 hours otherwise please consult your doctor once
