Q.

being a mother of a 4 month old, I got to know that my TSH levels are above 40 post delivery. should I be worried about my baby since Iam exclusively breastfeeding. will my baby be affected in any ways due to my condition

A. Thyroid is not contagious so it is not going to affect your child in any manner but of course you can continue breastfeeding the child a lot of women or even positive when they are pregnant but that does not affect the child at all so please don’t worry about it
