ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician7 months agoA. Actually, nebuliser is not recommended for simple cold. Anyways, as per your guidelines nebulizer are not to be used at home, it is not safe. You must contact your paediatrician who can prescribe you anti cold remedies.

You can give basic nebulisation with warm water you can give steam to the child indirectly because medicines are only supposed to be used in the machine as per your doctors recommendation for nebulising the child but for giving steam you can add some Vicks into the water
