Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give maxtra drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparationxeds as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Saline solution is the only safe nasal spray for babies, infants, and toddlers. To use saline solution, lay the baby down on their back and, if possible, slightly tilt their head back (don't force it, though). Then spray two to three drops of saline spray into each nostril.
