Q.

baby only drinks for 5 to 10 mins and goes back to sleep during the day entire day. what should be done,no matter what we do to wake her up,she doesn't.Is it normal or do we have to force her to be awake.

A. here for proper comments is very difficult until and unless a proper examination is done to find out the exact cause so igt would be better ihf you consult your doctor so that he can examine properly and than will guide you accordingly regarding this

A. Newborn babies should breastfeed 8–12 times per day for about the first month. Breast milk is easily digested, so newborns are hungry often. Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day.

During the day he wakes up when he is hungry but when i breastfeed him he takes for 5-10 mins and goes to sleep and if i give him formula milk that also he drinks haf and goes to sleep.
