Q.

Baby is 8months old and passing stools 3 times a day, Is it normal? Introduced fruits and rice to baby.

A. Small babies stool frequency varies as they grows. They may pass stool once in 10 days ,or may pass 10 to 15 times a day in small quantities, golden yellow in colour froothy in nature.so nothing to worry till it associate with abdominal distension, lethargy. please check stool examination

A. hi yes , stool frequency is normal nothing to worry but if a child is feeling discomfort or passing stool in stone like hard or too much watery consistency then please visit your pediatrician
